Sculpted on Karen Gerhardt’s Shannondell mold (#744), Gawain pays homage to the unicorn introduced in the 1984 J.C. Penney’s Christmas Catalog, reimagined for a new generation of collectors. Only 750 of this enchanting model were produced, making it a true collector’s gem.
Unicorns were a novel concept for Breyer during the 1980s, and while Flockies disappeared, unicorns have since become a mainstay, delighting enthusiasts with their enduring charm. Gawain embraces this legacy with a romantic twist, adorned with a garland of roses to honor his untamed and ethereal nature.
Packaged in a beautifully designed full-color box, Gawain includes a booklet detailing his inspiration and history, as well as a numbered certificate of authenticity to commemorate his exclusive release.
