Pinto horses were greatly cherished by Native Americans, thanks to their colorful coats that offered effective camouflage. During the summer, they favored dun, chestnut, and sorrel horses, while in the winter, they rode white Pintos, which blended seamlessly into the snowy landscape, making them harder to spot.
