Breyerfest 'Wittelsbach' Stablemate

The House of Wittelsbach, which ruled Bavaria from 1180 to 1918, is one of Germany's oldest dynasties. The familiar white and blue lozenges in their crest were adopted from the Counts of Bogen, an eastern Bavarian noble family, after their line died out. This crest later became the iconic Bavarian State flag.
To celebrate the summer of 2022's "Prost!" event, our Wittelsbach model has been created on mold #5753, sculpted by Brigitte Eberl, and beautifully decorated in the classic white and blue pattern of Bavaria's state flag.
