In the early 1960s, Breyer introduced its first “decorator” models—horses adorned with colorful, decorative finishes in both matte and glossy styles. While these models weren't initially the most popular, decorators have since become some of the most cherished pieces in the Breyer lineup. The first decorator models featured simple shades of blue and gold, either dappled or solid.
