Sjoerd's influence extends beyond his individual triumphs; he and his offspring boast an impressive collection of USEF and International Friesian Show Horse Association (IFSHA) champion titles, surpassing any other Friesian stallion and their progeny. Notably, Sjoerd holds the honor of being the inaugural Friesian stallion named champion in both Baroque and Sport Horse stallion in hand. Furthermore, he was the first to claim the #1 ranking in the USA, while simultaneously, his offspring held the #1 partbred ranking.
Retiring in 2015, Sjoerd left an indelible mark with 74 world champion titles and 130 regional champion titles to his name. Even in retirement, his legacy endures as he maintains the #1 ranking with an impressive 19,000 career points, a testament to his enduring impact on the Friesian breed.
